Effective date: October 10, 2026
The Third Thought is a persuasion-training game for leaders, created by David Ramer. This policy explains what the app does with information. The short version: we don't collect any personal data.
Information that stays on your device
- Your profile — name, role, industry, team size, leadership experience, and age range, if you choose to enter them. Every field is optional.
- Your progress — scores, solved scenarios, best runs, and settings.
- Scenarios you build in the Scenario Workshop.
This information is stored only on your device. It is never uploaded to us or shared with anyone. Deleting the app deletes it.
Apple Intelligence
Message Lab, the Scenario Workshop, end-of-challenge critiques, and bonus scenarios use Apple's on-device Foundation Models. The text you write and your profile are processed on your device and are not sent to us. See Apple's privacy policy for how Apple Intelligence works.
New scenarios
To deliver new scenarios without an app update, the app downloads a puzzle file from www.gringogolf.org. This request contains no personal information. Like any web server, our host may briefly log standard request data such as IP address for security and operations; we do not use it to identify you.
Purchases and notifications
The Third Thought Pro is purchased through Apple's App Store; we never see your payment details. Reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device, and you can turn them off in the app's Settings or in iOS Settings.
No tracking, no ads
The app contains no advertising, no analytics SDKs, and no third-party tracking.
Children
The app is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 13.
